Under the new Collective Bargaining Agreement, there will be some significant salary changes that we'll be implementing for next year. I feel it's too late in the off-season to implement them now and this will give owners a full year to plan accordingly.
1. The new MLB minimum salary will be as follows: 2018: $545,000, 2019: $555,000
2. The new MiLB minimum salary will be as follows: 2018: $88,000, 2019: $89,500
Our cap structure system formula accommodates for the minimum minor league salary X 205, so no adjustment needs to be made here.
