1. International prospects bid on with international bonus pool money must be 24 years of age or under
2. Player must sign a contract with an MLB team before he is eligible to be bid on. (Once the signing is reported by MLB Trade Rumors and Baseball America, the player is eligible to be bid on.)
3. Bonus pool money will reset every year,, unused money cannot be carried over to the following year
4. Available bonus pool money can be found on your team spreadsheet
5. Minimum bid is $25,000
6. Bids must be an increase of at least 10% from the highest previous bid. However, a max bid of $8,312,500 is always allowed regardless of beating the previous bid by 10%. If a player receives a max bid, another team can only beat that bid by also bidding $8,312,500 of Intl Bidding cap, plus giving the player a yearly contract of greater than 10% of the minimum minor league contract of $88,000/year. From there, each subsequent bid must be an increase of the yearly contract amount by at least 10%. (Example: Roderick Arias receives a max bid of $8,312,500. If this bid stands, Arias would receive a yearly contract of $88,000. If a team wants to beat this bid, they will need to offer $8,312,500 of Intl Bidding cap, plus a yearly contract of at least $96,800).
7. Bid must stand for 24 hours before the player is won
8. You do not need to post a contract, any player won with international bonus pool money will receive a recurring contract of $88,000
9. Please title the subject of your bids as in the example shown
- a. Gary Sanchez - C - New York Yankees
- b. When starting a new thread for a player, the opening bid post should also include a link to the site showing the player has officially signed. This should be from a reputable source similar to MLB, Baseball America, or MLB Trade Rumors. If the thread is posted without the link, the post will be removed.
10. If you do not have room for the $88,000 contract, your bid will be void, regardless of the amount of bonus pool money you have. This is to keep people from running up bids when they don't have the necessary cap space to sign the player.
